  James Brindley Mill Part of our industrial heritage, and only 15 minutes away
  Festival Park Multi-screen cinema, ten pin bowling, Waterworld, dry ski slope, shops galore
  Pottery Museum We are not all that far from Stoke - the heart of the UK pottery industry
 
Things to do
  Go for a Bike Ride Cycle up the beautiful Manifold valley - you can hire bikes in Waterhouses
  Go on a Craft Course The Threshing Barn is just down the road, and runs regular craft courses
  Go to the Theatre Stoke has several theatres worth a visit
  Peak District Outdoor Pursuits

Climbing, Canoeing, Mountain Biking and Abseiling
  Or just Walk! There is some of the best countryside in the UK just outside your door

  The Red Lion Friendly village pub in Waterfall - about 5 minutes in the car
  The Jervis Arms In Onecote, about 10 minutes in the car
  The Yew Tree, Cauldon Lowe Within walking distance ~ ask Graham for directions.
Not so much an eating pub, but the most amazing place
  Qarma Tandoori In Leek ~ as good an Indian (Bangladeshi to be exact) restaurant as you will find anywhere, and just 15 minutes away
  Ye Olde Crown In Waterhouses, a quick car ride or easy wakl
  The Pabna (Indian) Ask Graham for the discount card
